USMS has advised IAMS to use the following criteria for both State Records and Top Ten Tabulations:
- A valid time must be measured by automatic equipment, semi-automatic equipment (two buttons), or at least two watches. Times must include 2 decimal places.
- A swimmer submitting a time(s) must be a member of Iowa Masters at the time of the swim.
- All submitted times must be swum in pools with certified pool lengths.
